Information you choose to send
The enquiry form asks for:
- Your name, email address and message (required)
- The service you are interested in (optional)
- One requirements file, up to 5 MB (optional)
These are used only to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project. Please only include what is needed for that, and leave out passwords, payment card details, identity documents or sensitive information about yourself or others.
How your enquiry reaches Hamna
The form sends your enquiry from your browser to FormSubmit, which forwards it to Hamna’s email inbox. If you attach a file, your browser briefly opens FormSubmit to upload it, then returns here. FormSubmit receives what you submit plus technical details such as your IP address.
The form asks for your agreement before anything is sent. If you prefer, you can email directly instead. WhatsApp is a separate service with its own privacy practices.
The website host, form service and email provider process information to deliver their services, and this may happen outside your country.
Website visits and preferences
The site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recordings or third-party media embeds. Images, videos and fonts are served from the site itself. The hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.
If you switch between light and dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser. The cookies page explains this and lets you clear it.
Keeping and managing your information
Enquiries and replies are kept in the email account used for the conversation, and only for as long as they are needed:
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted within 6 months of the last message.
- If you become a client, the project agreement, invoices, payment records and key emails are kept for up to 6 years after the project ends, for tax and accounting purposes.
You can email at any time to ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting a message from Hamna’s inbox cannot remove copies held in a service provider’s own logs or backups; those follow that provider’s practices.
Depending on where you live, you may have further privacy rights, including the right to complain to a data protection regulator.
Links to other websites
Project links, GitHub, LinkedIn and WhatsApp open separate websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there.
